Demon's Souls in Demon's Souls are materials that can be used for Trade, for unlocking various upgrades, abilities, and spells, as well as for crafting unique equipment. These Demon's Souls are obtained by defeating specific Bosses of the game. This page covers a list of all the Demon's Souls that are acquired in the game, as well as brief information on how to obtain each Demon's Souls below.
Some Demon's Souls can only be acquired a single time per playthrough, so make sure where you want to spend them before using them.

Demon's Souls Acquisition
Beast Demon Soul
This can be obtained during the End Game. When you reach Below the Nexus, after defeating Old King Allant, kill the Maiden in Black.
Maiden in Black Demon Soul
This can be obtained during the End Game. When you reach Below the Nexus, defeat Old King Allant and leave the area while the Maiden in Black puts the Old One to sleep.
Colorless Demon's Soul
There are multiple ways to obtain the Colorless Demon's Soul:
- Five can be obtained by killing Primeval Demons.
- One is near Miralda, the Executioner. Requires Pure White or Pure Black World Tendency to access the area
- Two can be obtained by trading with Sparkly, the Crow in Shrine of Storms; trade the Gold Mask and/or Talisman of God.
- Two are assassination quest rewards from Mephistopheles. Requires Pure Black Character Tendency. Kill Biorr, of the Twin Fangs and Patches, the Hyena. Each kill rewards one Colorless Demon's Soul.
Doll Demon Soul
The Doll Demon Soul can be obtained after defeating a Boss. Reach the end of the Prison of Hope and defeat the Fool's Idol. You'll obtain this after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
Dragon Demon Soul
The Dragon Demon Soul can be obtained after defeating a Boss. Defeat the Dragon God in the Underground Temple. You'll obtain this after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
Eroded Demon Soul
The Eroded Demon Soul can be obtained after defeating a Boss. You need to work your way through the Swamp of Sorrow where you'll find the Dirty Colossus at the end. You'll obtain this after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
False King Demon Soul
The False King Demon Soul can be obtained after defeating a Boss. You will encounter False King Allant upon reaching the end of The King's Tower. You can obtain this Demon's Soul after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
Gray Demon Soul
There are two locations where you can obtain the Gray Demon Soul but you still need to defeat a Boss to acquire it:
- Survive and defeat the Vanguard at the end of the Tutorial. Touch the Archstone after defeating it to obtain the Demon's Soul.
- Dropped by the same boss encountered during the Tutorial. You'll find the Vanguard on Island's Edge. It is dropped by this demon after defeating it.
Hard Demon Soul
The Hard Demon's Soul can be obtained by defeating a Boss. You need to defeat the Armor Spider which is located at the end of the Smithing Grounds. You can obtain this Demon's Soul after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
Hero Demon Soul
The Hero Demon Soul can be acquired by defeating a Boss. To obtain this, travel to The Ritual Path and defeat the Old Hero who is at the end of the mentioned location. You'll obtain this after eliminating the boss and touching the Archstone.
Writhing Demon Soul
The Writhing Demon Soul is acquired after defeating a Boss. Players will need to fight against the Leechmonger who is found at the end of the Depraved Chasm. Upon eliminating this boss, touch the Archstone to obtain the Demon's Soul.
Iron Demon Soul
The Iron Demon Soul is acquired after defeating a Boss. Defeat the Tower Knight who is encountered at the end of The Lord's Path. Touch the Archstone after defeating the boss to obtain this Demon's Soul.
Large Scaled Flame Demon Soul
The Large Scaled Flame Demon Soul can be acquired after defeating an optional Boss. You can obtain this as a dropped item once you kill the Blue Dragon. The Blue Dragon can be encountered at either the Gates of Boletaria or The King's Tower.
Lead Demon Soul
The Lead Demon Soul is obtained by eliminating a Boss, this is a Demon's Soul that you obtain early in the game. Defeat the Phalanx that can be found at the end of the Gates of Boletaria. Once you've defeated the boss, touch the Archstone to acquire this Demon's Soul.
Mixed Demon Soul
The Mixed Demon Soul can be acquired by defeating a Boss. Defeat the Maneater that is encountered at the end of Upper Latria. Upon eliminating the boss, touch the Archstone to obtain the Mixed Demon's Soul.
Pureblood Demon Soul
The Pureblood Demon Soul can be obtained by eliminating a Boss. Upon reaching the end of the Rotting Haven, defeat Garl Vinland and kill Maiden Astraea or just let her commit suicide. Touch the Archstone after killing the boss to acquire this Demon's Soul.
Searing Demon Soul
The Searing Demon Soul can be obtained after defeating a Boss. Travel to The Tunnel City and work your way to the end where you'll encounter the Flamelurker. Defeat the boss and then touch the Archstone to acquire this Demon's Soul.
Silver Demon Soul
The Silver Demon Soul can easily be acquired by eliminating a Boss. Work your way through the Inner Ward where you'll fight against the Penetrator waiting at the end of the location. Once you've killed the boss, touch the Archstone to obtain the Penetrator's Demon's Soul.
Small Scaled Flame Demon Soul
The Small Scaled Flame Demon Soul can be acquired after defeating an optional Boss. You can obtain this as a dropped item once you kill the Red Dragon. The Red Dragon can be encountered at the Gates of Boletaria.
Storm Demon Soul
The Storm Demon Soul can be acquired by eliminating a Boss. You'll be able to fight the Storm King upon reaching the Altar of Storms. Once you've defeated the boss, touch the Archstone to obtain the Storm King's Demon's Soul.
Swollen Demon Soul
The Swollen Demon Soul is obtained by eliminating a Boss. Work your way through Island's Edge until you reach the end where you'll encounter the Adjudicator. Touch the Archstone after killing the boss to obtain this Demon's Soul.
Golden Demon Soul
The Golden Demon Soul is obtained once you've killed a specific Boss. Players will need to reach the final location of Tower of Latria which is The Ivory Tower and fight against the Old Monk. Upon defeating this boss, touch the Archstone to acquire the Golden Demon Soul.

Can I hold a boos soul more than once? As in if I didn't use the soul in my first playthrough and then kill the boss in ng+, will I have 2 of those souls?
