Homing Soul Arrow is a Magic Spell in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Homing Soul Arrow produces a Soul Arrow that tracks its target. Magic Spells focus around offensive strategies that can both inflict damage and apply negative Status Effects as well as some self-buffs.
Spell from the Demon Old Monk's Soul. Produces a Soul Arrow that tracks its target. The old man was nothing more than a medium for the robe that drives men mad. This spell reflects the old man's nature to yearn for power that was not his.
Homing Soul Arrow Effect
- Produces a Soul Arrow that tracks its target.
- It generates up to 5 small orbs of energy, depending on the caster's Magic stat.
- If an orb touches a wall or other object, it disappears.
- This makes the spell a poor choice for confined spaces.
How to get Homing Soul Arrow
- The spell can be learned from Sage Freke, the Visionary in exchange of a Golden Demon Soul.

for anyone wondering the numbers or orbs increase at 15, 19, 25 and 31 magic

Seriously, just get the catalyst. This is a waste of time, and someone at From Software should get their ass kicked for making such a cool spell, practically useless.

For those who want to know this just lime me: the numbers of orbs reach 5 when you have at least 31 magic.
This spell is amazing in PvE, it obliterates everything that isn't resistent to magic. Sadly in PvP it isn't as good since it's piss easy to dodge.
It is a shame they didn't fix the firing out of range with this in the remake

Most OP spell in the game. With Morion Blade and Clever Rat Ring will almost one-shot any boss in the game. Only downsides are the very limited range, the fact they can fire when still out of range, and the fact it will only target one enemy.
It's really cool how all the magical spells from bosses' souls are some kind of "reflection" of the demons' nature, while all the miracles are a "countersign" to the said nature. All made even cooler when you realize that the "God" of the miracles is in fact the papa demon, and all the "countersigns" do come not from God, but from the humble men who oppose the demons
