PvP Builds in Demon's Souls
Soul Sentinel Build Guide: Expert Co-Op
The Blue Sentinel Build is a Build that focuses on very high damage, from the earliest parts of the game by using Demonbrandt and Pure White Character Tendency, with even higher damage while being summoned as a Blue Phantom. If you’re a huge fan of co op, and you want to be useful right out of the gate, then this is an excellent Build for you.
Moonlight Valkyrie Build Guide: Beginner PvP
The Moonlight Valkyrie Build uses the now legendary weapon Large Sword of Moonlight. This Build is particularly good for beginners who wish to PvP, or for those who like to co-op and ward off invaders. It can also be used effectively in PvE because of its high Magic Damage.
Holy Paladin Build Guide: Advanced Faith
The Holy Paladin Build is a Build that focuses on high Magic Damage, as well as very good survive ability through Miracles and HP Regeneration. If you’ve been looking for a Build that’s extremely tough to kill, and has something for just about every situation, then this is the Build for you.
Death Cleaver Build Guide: Beginner PvP
The Death Cleaver Build is a PvP Build that does staggering damage very early on in the game, allowing you to often one or two shot most hosts. If you like to invade other players and you want to do so very very quickly with a high chance of success, then this Beginner PvP Build might just be what you’re looking for.

The Battlemage
A hard to master PVP build, granting you many options to adapt to the situation. Magic or melee, you can adapt and thrive in both to surprise your opponents with unexpected attacks. A good way to open up a fight is to use a long-range spell, if the enemy dodges, quickly rush and close the distance and surprise them with melee. Adaptability is key.
In terms of spells, you have 5 spell slots to work with. I listed what worked better for ME, but you can adjust it to your play style. Experiment and have fun.
Equipment
You can obtain the Kris Blade, at Stonefang Tunnel. On a ramp on the left of the elevator, at the end on a dead body.
You can obtain the Uchigatana, behind where the Vanguard is in Shrine of Storms.
If you don't want to dual-wield and would rather use a shield. The Dark Silver Shield will be obtained after you kill Garl Vinland in 5-3. The Steel Shield can be found after killing a large group of Scale Miners, in Stonefang Tunnel. It may also drop from Boletaria Soldier in Tower Knight Archstone.
You can obtain the Talisman of Beasts as a Mephistopheles quest reward or if you kill the Black Phantom version of Scirvir, the Wanderer.
You can get the Cling Ring in Boletarian Palace, past the fog gate near the Blue Eye Knight at the top of the wall.
If male, you can get most parts of the armor set by defeating Old King Doran at the Boletaria Mausoleum in Boletarian Palace. In case you chose female, the Binded Cross Set is dropped by Executioner Miralda also at Boletarian Palace.
The Monk's Head Collar is a reward for killing the host when summoned as the boss by the Old Monk

The Executioner
This build is inspired by the Npc Executioner Miralda. It is a relatively easy to create build and most of the equipment can be found by defeating the real Executioner Miralda. For roleplaying purposes, this build doesn't cast spells nor miracles.
Equipment
The Guillotine Axe is dropped by Executioner Miralda in her Black Phantom variation. On the other hand, the Binded Cross Set and the Master's Ring are dropped by body form Executioner Miralda.
You can get the Cling Ring in Boletarian Palace, past the fog gate near the Blue Eye Knight at the top of the wall.

This build is based on magic damage with pretty early accesible spells and the mighty Crascent Falchion. You'll need to grind some Moonshadestones and Chunks, if you're lucky a Pure Moonshadestone too, but works well with the +4 variant. The spells you'll be using are Fire Spray to do pressure on the opponent and Soul Ray to deal surprise damage. Crescent Falchion scales with magic and the damage hits through armor and shields both, personally i think it is a bit too OP at this range of soul level. The rings you use are Ring of Magical Sharpness and Clever Rat's Ring. Clever Rat's Ring comes handy if you have <30% HP, but with the +50% damage increase you can cut down the enemy in 2 hits usually, that's the most frustrating part from the enemy's side. The stats can vary, in my exact build, there is 15 STR and 15 DEX so i can use the scraping spear to freak out the tough shieldy guys, but it is not necessary due to the sick damage and it is worth noting that you won't need too much Endurance cause you can maintain the pressure with Fire Spray, then cut and win. Have fun folks!

Holy Spellsword
Since this is a melee/caster build at its core, the combos utilized also require a bit practice and timing. My ideal start is casting either Second Chance or Anti-Magic Field after buffing my Blueblood Sword with Light Weapon; if the opponent allows you to that is. If they don't, we have back up options with The Large Sword of Moonlight and/or Istarelle. Although the DPS starts to fall off after SL125 & beyond for these weapons, both offer unique utilities. We also use Ring of Sincere Prayer over Foe's Ring mainly for increased cast speed for God's Wrath. If you're feeling spicy feel free to use both.
As a side note, God's Wrath is very useful in invasions where there is a lot of obstruction, like Tower of Latria, as it has hit frames through walls and is very good against ganks if you manage to cast it. Alternatively, I find many casters try and invade in Upper Latria so Anti-Magic Field is incredibly useful there. Dark Silver Shield also helps offset the increased magic damage we take as well and is used in the same hand we use our Talisman of Beasts, so we don't accidently nerf our damage output.
Utility Weapons
The Large Sword of Moonlight is able to slice through most shields excluding Dark Silver Shield and is usually able to stagger opponents really well, main downside is its quite stamina heavy, so it might be worth sacrificing some Vitality for extra Endurance. The absolute main reason I use it aside from being a FromSoftware classic though is because its beauty is out of this world. Style over substance baby. (Style is substance)
The Phosphorescent Pole on the other hand is surprisingly quite substantial. Not only does it offer passive MP recovery, but it also has the halberd moveset and does very good damage, assuming they're not blocking with the Dark Silver Shield or have a lot of magic resistance.
As for the Istarelle, although a lot of people dislike it for its moderate damage and predictability, the weapon comes out incredibly quickly and has great reach, additionally it is perfect for surprise weapon swaps to try and acquiesce the advantage given by the opponent's confusion.
As a side note, it's very useful in Valley of Defilement, paired with the Sodden Ring (PS5).
Speaking of surprises, my main combo that annihilates the opposition, is a few swings of Blueblood into a fiery Ignite, if all hits connect, they should be deleted. End of line.

How to Bonk
- Use Cracked Talisman of Beasts (not meeting stat requirements) to buff Dragon Bone Smasher (DBS) with Curse Weapon so that we still get 50% buff while only losing 1 HP/s instead of 1%/s
- Consider using Anti-Magic Field after buffing for casters so they do not try and whittle us down with their spells. Alternatively, if 50 Vitality is not enough for you, consider using Second Chance for safety. Or don't, that's an option too.
- Firmly Grasp Dragon Bone Smasher with 2 Hands
- BONK
Utility Weapons
Blessed Iron Knuckles should always be in our offhand so that we obtain passive Health Regen to completely mitigate the HP loss of Curse Weapon. Also, aside from having the ability to parry, these Knuckles also have really quick L1 Light Attacks with added Magic Damage that can throw off the opponent.
The Heavy Crossbow is mostly a stylistic choice (GRIFFITH!!), but it can also offer further Mix-up game and potentially punish people running to heal or sniff some spice (He who controls the spice, controls the universe).
Dragon Mirdan Hammer or Dragon Knight Sword is our answer for opponents that try and use Warding or if they're hiding behind Dark Silver Shield (If you're comfortable with dead angling that works too) we also use Firebombs and Black Pine Resin on our DBS to keep them on their toes.
All in all, I would recommend practicing swinging locked off, so you can build muscle memory for the juicy dead-angling and make it much harder for your opponent to block our attacks and try to sneak in some cheeky damage.
Our DBS Bonks, our Crossbow Skeet Skeets and our Iron Knuckles go Blam Clang POW!
