Greystone Chunk (or Chunk of Greystone) is an Upgrade Material in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
A chunk of gray ore that emits a dull glow. Reinforces straight swords, axes. hammers, and the like.
Used to craft weapons that rely on sheer strength to bludgeon Foes. Weapons can be reinforced by graystones up to level 5.
Greystone Chunk Location: Where to Find Greystone Chunk
- Dropped by Rock Worms in The Tunnel City.
- Looted off a corpse at The Tunnel City. If you take the left path from the archstone, after the elevator room, keep going straight. Once you reach the open cavern, turn right and head towards the wooden platform. Walk up a bit and drop down to the second platform below. Video Location: Shown in our walkthrough video N7 at 5:00. I can confirm that the Underground temple worms also drop Pure Greystones.

I think the 3 rock worms right outside of the underground temple drop chunks more frequently. The ones that spit lava vertically.

Out of all of the quality of life changes blue point did they didn't do the biggest enhancement they could've done and that's make getting upgrade materials faster and easier. Nobody wants to spend hours farming.

I got one in an hour farming rock worms. It's a bit of a joke, really.
Did they change the drop rate? I just farmed 9 chunks in 45 minutes.
