Master's Ring is a Ring in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Rings are accessories that are equipped by the player to obtain various abilities that grant buffs and effects which can help in the player's journey or certain situations.
Shaped with straw rope, this ring increases damage inflicted by optimal hits while decreasing damage inflicted by all other attacks.
One of several rings originating in a distant land known for its unique sword crafting technique, this ring too was crafted with a comparably uncommon process.

Master's Ring Notes and Tips
- Sweet spot damage works best for Weapons that swings carefully for a precise hit, including Axes, Hammers, Large Axes, Large Hammers, and Polearms
- This Ring is only obtainable from Body Form, Executioner Miralda if the player's World Tendency is Pure White.

This works for any weapons with "optimal hits" explicitly stated in the description, like battle axes.. On another note: whatever the **** that guy back in 2022 is on, I want some of that ****, give it here.

Optimal Hits: If you look at certain weapon descriptions they read, "Following through with your swing & connecting will land an optimal hit, inflicting more damage than normal." Three examples: Battle Axe, Mace & Warpick. This is what is defined as optimal hits, not what any other comments have written about the tip, sharpest edge, etc. If the weapon info doesn't have, "Optimal Hits" in the description then this ring won't add to any of its attacks.

It increases damage when you damage them with the tip of the weapon only the tip is allowed to touch them for increases damage, I guess axes are awkward so they get free pass, but spears and swords you need the tip only

The tendency isn't pure white... its pure black for Miralda.

Why does this ring work so well on axes but not on anything else? Is it broken or something?

This ring also is a glowing item in the Dragon God battlefield upper level. I was in body form after winning the battle.

So this is what axes are missing in the later souls games. Every other weapon type has something special. Swords are versatile with their two attack types, rapiers are quick, curved swords have bleed, katanas are weeb bait, hammers have good poise damage, spears and poleaxes are long, daggers have good counter damage, great weapons have good stagger, and axes have nothing anymore.
Bring back axe supremacy!
