Flamberge is a Large Sword Weapon in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Large Swords are usually held with both hands and are capable of inflicting a huge amount of damage towards hostile characters but are slow, making the player vulnerable to fast enemy attacks.
A unique large sword with a rippled blade. So named because of it's [sic] shape resembling a flame, the blade is made for rending flesh and forces the letting large amounts of blood. It is known especially as a weapon that easily causes mortal wounds.

- Dropped by: Imperial Spies
- Upper Latria: Encountered in a darkened hallway in which its platforms are not visible until lighted. You must step off the main path to this area to retrieve the item. Shown in our video here:

- Although Flamberge is a Large Sword, it has the attributes of a Curved Sword, including additional Bleed damage, Stat Bonuses that favor Dexterity, and upgrade paths.

AnonymousSo I decided to do a duel wield build with a greatsword in the main hand and a thrusting sword in the off-hand to interrupt fast attacks and provide thrusting damage. I'm thinking of priorizing dex and using this as the main weapon to min-max stats between both weapons rather than working quality on both.

If you go for a bleed poison weapon is this the best weapon for it? Or is there a better weapon for it?
I'm trying to make a hybride build and need the best weapon to use for it but i have no idea witch weapon is the best to use.

This is the dex greatsword, much like the war scythe for halberds. It is definitely not my favorite dex weapon, but it does what it is meant to. Only ever tried it Sharp, might be better with a different infusion.
Shame you can't give this Fire damage. No Flameberg in this game :c
