Dragonstone Shard (or Shard of Dragonstone) is an Upgrade in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
A shard of Dragonstone found floating in lava. Reinforces straight swords, axes, hammers, and the like.
Dragonstone imbues weapons with fire. Weapons can be reinforced by dragonstones up to level 5.
