Marrowstone Shard (or Shard of Marrowstone) is an Upgrade item found in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
A shard of very thin, sharp ore. Reinforces daggers, thrusting swords, spears, and the like.
Used to craft close-range stabbing weapons favorable for critical strikes. Weapons can be reinforced by marrowstones up to level 5. Considered to be a crystallized form of minerals present in human blood.
