Effect Determines how often items drop from fallen enemies

Item Discovery (or Drop Rate)  is a General Stat in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Drop Rate determines your character's how often items drop from fallen enemies. General Stats are determined by your Attributes and can be also acquired from some Equipment.

 

Item Discovery Effect

  • Determines how often items drop from fallen enemies

 

About Item Discovery

Each Point you assign to Luck increases your Drop Rate (how often items drop from fallen enemies).  Drop rate is not affected by diminishing returns.

  • + 4 per point until Luck Lvl 99

  • Doubles player's current item discovery.
  • For this to work, the player must equip the sword in their left/off hand.
  • The player must also have the item in their current off hand.
    If it is in the reserve/second offhand slot, you will not receive the bonus.

Providential Ring
  •  Raises player's item discovery by a small amount.
