Fluted Armor is a Chest Armor in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. This piece is part of the Fluted Set. Chest armor protects the player's torso by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some sets of armor are available to both genders but are slightly different for male and female characters. Those that are identical in appearance are labeled as unisex.
An iron armor with finely cut grooves. It is used by the knights of the relatively advanced region of southern Boletaria.
The fine grooves are designed to enhance the protective effect of the thin iron sheet.Its heaviness slightly impedes stamina regeneration.

This redesign would be okay if not for the fact that it isn't fluted anymore, lol. Fluting is when strips of metal are layered to help create a glancing surface, but the remake's version just has these hugely impractical indentations that would do the exact opposite.
