Epee Rapier is a Thrusting Sword Weapon in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Thrusting Swords are fast, and are mainly used for thrusting. They specialize in piercing attacks and are best used to counter or follow-up an enemy's attack. 

 

A ceremonial rapier with intricate golden designs. It is a weapon favored by those of a masked society who meet in secret to discuss the harnessing of Souls.

It is imbued with a strong, magical flame, which is one reason why these vicious people are feared.

Epee Rapier Notes and Tips

• Can be upgraded using a Colorless Demon's Soul
• As a piercing sword weapon, it can attack while shield is up.
• Of all the piercing swords or Spears / Poles class items which all share this property, this is the only one which is enchanted with Fire damage.
• Its Fire damage scales up with the users Magic stat, so it scales somewhat like a Upgrade: Moon (Moonlightstone) except with added Fire damage instead of Magic.
• At maximum Strength and Dexterity the Epee Rapier will do 50 + 40 Physical Damage and with maximum Magic, 80 + 144 Fire Damage.
