Dragonstone Chunk (or Chunk of Dragonstone) is an Upgrade in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
Dragon bone fossilized by lava. Enhances straight swords, axes, hammers, and so on.
An ore that applies the power of fire to a weapon. Weapons can be strengthened by Dragonstones up to a maximum of level 5.
Dragonstone Chunk Location: Where to Find Dragonstone Chunk
- Dropped by Large Bearbug in The Tunnel City.
- At the Flamelurker's room in The Tunnel City, while facing the stairs, turn right, you can find x2 Chunk of Dragonstone behind a column.
- 4x Within the lava river of The Tunnel City.
- 3x can be dropped by the Red Phantoms in front of the Crystal Lizard den

Just an FYI for people having trouble finding the chucks in the Flamelurker boss room, if you are looking at the stairs from the arch stone, pan your camera to the right, you should see a soft glow from behind the pillar that is directly next to the stairs on the right.

boo.. the phantom before crystal Lizard den fell through the option elevator and i got nothing. Just an FYI.

There's x4 in the lava before Flamelurker, as well as a Pure DragonStone
Here I am getting chunk after chunk of greystone to drop from the rockworms I kill on the way to the big bearbugs, and I can't get a damn one of these to drop from the bugs. Have had to toss multiple 99 piles of shards and have found multiple pure stones in the process. This is on PBWT with 16 Luck, Providential Ring and LSoS in my offhand.
