Thiefs Ring doesnt work well in NG+. Many enemies can see you at medium distance and pursuit you like a mad dog... So, The invisible sneak back stab with thiefs ring fails a lot in NG +. And the plague Trolls from World 5 can detect you from affar

At first I didn't notice the differences that much but after using it a while and taking it out man it makes a world of difference. EXTREMELY useful in general at shrine of storms, way way less manta ray bullcrap and the obvious free Old Hero bossfight. Overall an extremely good ring.

        • The Cloak Spell has actually proven to me that it is effectively greater than the effect of the Thief's Ring. Only with its effect, I can safely stand in front of the Skeleton located in World 4-2, access through an illusionary wall, while in Lock-On range. With the effect of the Thief's Ring, this is not possible. So the effect of this Spell excels in remaining undetected even directly in front of an Enemy's eyes for 30s, while the effect of the Thief's Ring is not as powerful, but it has no time limit. The related information for both items are incorrect. I refrain to update it, because I think it is not my place to change it easily.

One of my favorite things about this in the original was that the visual effect was quite subtle. For some reason, they felt the need to ruin that in the remake >_< At least give us the option to turn ring visual effects off.

I'm trying to figure out why I have TWO of those rings. First one I got from Boletaria, obviously, but while playing though the Swamps (5-2), I noticed I had a second one in my inventory. Did I accidentally dupe it while swapping rings?
