Soldier is a starting Class in Demon's Souls. The classes only determine the starting Stats and Equipment of the player, but as the game progresses, players can freely change their build to their preferred playstyle - there are 10 Classes in Demon's Souls that the player can begin the game with.

A low-class soldier that always stands at the frontline of battlegrounds. This is the standard soldier type with especially high vitality and hard armor. Besides a straight sword, they are equipped with a spear, thus broadening their battle style.

• Broad Sword
• Short Spear
• Soldier's Shield
