Rogue's Set is an Armor Set in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Armor provides the player with protection and different resistance against all types of damage and negative status effects, such as Blunt Damage, Bleed, Plague, and more. Sets of Armor in Demon's Souls are divided into four categories which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leggings.
A gold mask inlaid with a delicate design. Even among the rogues that are confined in a sealed chamber who embrace the soul. industry , only those of a particularly high rank are allowed to wear it.
A clothes of smooth black cloth, woven with gold thread. Equipment of a masked society who meet in secret to discuss the harnessing of Souls. Their clandestine affairs are largely unknown.
Rogue's Set Location: Where to Find Rogue's Set
- Gold Mask is dropped by Mephistopheles.
- The Mask can also be found in Upper Latria (along with the Epee Rapier) where the heart falls after breaking the second chain. (Remake and original.)
- The rest of the set is found in Upper Latria.
- In the Remake, the rest of the set is found in Prison of Hope 2F East on a body in a cell. Must free Lord Rydell before 2F East is accessible, which requires the Prison of Hope, 2F W Cell Key. Obtaining this key, found in Upper Latria, requires Pure White World Tendency.

AnonymousDo you need Pure White WT for the 2F East door to be unlocked?
I already had PWWT, got all the keys, freed and killed Rydell, got Pure Black WT to get coin and such.
Now I learned about the armor being there and the gate is still locked despite having all the keys and having freed Rydell previously.

The defense stats for the armor are incorrect and really need to be changed.

Sucks that the armor set is locked behind a gender wall. I considered switching my guy to type A just to wear the mask but then he got boobs. We all need to make sacrifices I guess.

The chest piece doesn't give any plague defence in the remake.

so in the original Game (PS3) I won't get the mask unless I have pure black character tendancy and kill mephistopheles?

It's hilarious that every "guide" states this armor as the best armor for body type-A which isn't actually the case. The arms/legs for the Rogue set, Imperial Spy and Black Leather are the same for all physical resists and only differ in fire, poison and plague resists. The chest piece for Imperial Spy is the best of the 3 for physical resists by only by 1 point. The durability of the rogue set pieces is 200 compared to the 350 of both the other aforementioned sets. All 3 sets look good on body type-A so just go with the fashion souls but do consider that this set is, by far, the most inconvenient to get of the 3.

Does this set have side effects that make it easier to sneak up on enemies? (ala thief ring) I swear that I can walk up to enemies who arent looking at me and they dont turn around....

I confirmed you do NOT get the rogue set on 2F. You get Venerable Sage's Set.

I don't think you can get her bod, hand, or leg armor in the remake.

I found the Gold Mask during the Fools Idol fight.... I believe at the same location as the Baby's nail in the remake. Behind the alter during the fight.
I have the Gold Mask, and I know for a fact I never went black tendancy on a si gle thing ever, never killed yurt so no Mephistopheles in my playthrough at all.
But it is there, I traded it into the sparkly crow for a colorless soul.
Someone who has the remake want to go and check that out and verify?
