Pure Faintstone is an Upgrades found in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
Cold, holy ore that shines dimly. Enhances straight swords, axes, hammers, and so on.
The faintstone's power will also cause the user of a weapon blessed with it to slowly regenerate HP. Weapons can be strengthened by Faintstone up to a maximum of level 5.
Pure Faintstone Location: Where to Find Pure Faintstone
- Dropped by Depraved One (Shaman) in the Swamp of Sorrow.
- Dropped by Giant Depraved One (Rare) in the Swamp of Sorrow.
- If you have 20 points in your Faith stats, talk to Worshipper of God in the Nexus.
- Possible drop from Crystal Lizard in Swamp of Sorrow.

None of these appear to drop pure faintstones. This is tested with 85k luck. Every item drops every kill and nothing so far is dropping pure faintstones.
Crystal Lizard in 5-4 boss room drops it.
