Official's Cap is a Helm in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. This helm is not associated with any set. Helms protect the player's head by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some sets of armor are available to both genders but are slightly different for male and female characters. Those that are identical in appearance are labeled as unisex.
A hat worn by the minister of the King. Just by wearing this hat, you can be a minister too!
Appearing just before demons ran rampant in Boletaria, the fat ministers who insinuated themselves into favor with King Allant abused the population with a fain.

At first I thought the Fat Official at the top of the stairs was chuckling in response to me wearing it. Then I realized it's your own character that chuckles whenever you put it on.

In the remake equipping this hat makes your character giggle like a Fat Official and sneer in the menu..

Fat ministers, who appeared just before the demons ran rampant in Boletaria and ingratiated themselves with King Allant, oppressed the masses with sly grins.
This hat is said to have been resented by the masses as a hateful reminder of them.
