Needle of Eternal Agony is a Thrusting Sword Weapon in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Thrusting Swords are fast, and are mainly used for thrusting. They specialize in piercing attacks and are best used to counter or follow-up an enemy's attack.
A large, curved needle with barbed stingers. This weapon was forged from the Soul of the Demon "Maneater." It stabs its target, hooks into the flesh, and slowly grinds away at the Soul. Could it symbolize the relationship between the host and snake within the Maneater?
Needle of Eternal Agony Location: Where to Find Needle of Eternal Agony
Can be created at Blacksmith Ed, requires a using a Mixed Demon Soul and can be created from any of the following weapons:
- Parrying Dagger +7
- Secret Dagger +7
- Mail Breaker +7
- Rapier +7
- Estoc +7
Upgraded weapon - consumes Mixed Demon Soul.
Needle of Eternal Agony Notes and Tips
- Note that although each attack grants souls, it will not take souls from another, only adds.
- This weapon gives the attacking player +20 souls with each hit, however, the damage is a joke, so just make it for the valuable weapons trophy and toss it in storage. It is easier, more rewarding, and faster to farm souls from alternative methods listed on the wiki. As a side note, it can be somewhat useful if you die and need to repair your weapons before going back to your bloodstain since it can steal souls from the Maiden in Black and the Monumental for some quick change. Also, note that this weapon can not be enchanted.

How take the most from this weapon
1) Don't met the stet requirements (have low dex and int)
2) Equip it
3) Hit the Maiden in Black as much as you want for as much souls as you want, GG

Hard boss if you don't have any fire spells, and then it gives you an item that you can either consume if you're smart or throw away a good, upgraded dagger for the worst weapon in the game. Good job From, good job.

its a cool looking weapon to off hand parry with if your going for a Fat Vit Faith Cleaver Dump build, but it's basically just a ornament.
I think the name is meant to describe what it would be like to kill something with it

10/10 Most useless weapon in demons souls would rather use a broken sword!
Has to be a contender for the worst weapon From has ever made. I really can't think of a single use for this thing in any portion of the game. It's even more of a double whammy as the stats required are too weird to slot into an already established build. It makes you work for 20 Dexterity and 20 Magic for what payoff!!?? Such a strange weapon....
