Kite Shield is a Standard Shield in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Standard Shields have a good balance between defense and weight which is great for most situations in combat. Although it may not be as light as a small shield which is good for agility and parrying, standard shields work best at reducing damage and blocking.

 

A medium-sized metal shield, issued to knights of the relatively advanced region to Boletaria's south.
