Hiltless is a Katana Weapon in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Katanas specializes in mid-range combat, are capable of inflicting slash and thrust attacks, and can also apply the Bleed negative status effect against hostile characters.

 

This uchigatana is named for its lack of a hilt.
The blade appears somehow wet. A fine piece of work with an intricate design forged by a famous swordsmith in a distant land. Extremely difficult to handle owing to the fact that it must be held by the blade, inevitably injuring the wielder.

• Found in: The Ritual Path, on a small room in the area full of Slugs. It is being protected by four Phosphorescent Slug.

Hiltless Notes and Tips

• Can be upgraded using Colorless Demon's Soul
• Inflicts 3% Max HP damage to user for each attack. Every attack that hit an enemy will drain 3% of players HP. Hitting walls and objects will not trigger the effect
• Backstabs and Ripostes are exempt from harming you for 3% damage.
