Dragonstone is an Upgrade in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. Upgrade Materials are items that are used to strengthen the statistical value and to increase the effect of a certain piece of equipment.
Dragon bone fossilized by lava. Enhances straight swords, axes, hammers, and so on.
An ore that applies the power of fire to a weapon. Weapons can be strengthened by Dragonstones up to a maximum of level 5.

- Dropped by Giant Bearbug in The Tunnel City.

- Dropped by Fire Lizard in Stonefang Tunnel.
- Can be bought from the Filthy Man for 3000 souls each in The Tunnel City.

Dragonstone Compatible Weapons
AnonymousIf you farm the bear bugs in 2-2, it's a pain yes but upgrading the +1 dragon sword to +5 it makes world 3 a joke. They squids are weak to magic and Man-eaters melt like butter with it. That is of course they don't boop you off the cliff or glitch out like 3 out of times they always do.
I’m assuming this is the Demon Soul’s version of a raw gem upgrade with fire damage? Sounds like it’s cool for PVP I guess.

I'm sorry, but am i missing the point of this stone? Removing all scaling effect seems like a pretty **** deal for added fire damage.

Dragon Upgrades
Upgrade weapons with the Dragon upgrade path from +1 to a max level of +5. Grants high base damage and adds fire damage. However, it removes all Stat bonuses. Requires the Dragonstone.

Does anyone one know if these have a better drop rate with pure white tendency?? I’m in pure black (to get Greystone) and chunks simply aren’t dropping.
