Combat Information

Crossbow

  • Fires a crossbow bolt. Approximately 5 seconds between each shot

Long Sword and Soldier's Shield

  • Takes a short dash forward and swings horizontally.
  • Reaches into pocket and throws a Firebomb
  • Tower Knight Archstone: If the player is hiding behind a shield, he'll execute a short push-kick. Will break the guard of any shield with less than 55 Hit res.
  • Tower Knight Archstone: When wounded and not being attacked for a period of time, the soldier will eat a Crescent Moon Grass.

Short Spear and Soldier's Shield

  • At medium range and beyond, he'll run forward and swing his spear horizontally. Long range and very wide angle attack from the player's right to left.
  • With shield raised, the soldier makes a quick jab with the spear, followed by a heavy attack.
  • Heavy piercing attack without raising shield.
  • Reaches into pocket and throws a Firebomb
  • Tower Knight Archstone: If the player is hiding behind a shield, he'll execute a short push-kick. Will break the guard of any shield with less than 55 Hit res.
  • Tower Knight Archstone: When wounded and not being attacked for a period of time, the soldier will eat a Crescent Moon Grass.

Battle Axe and Soldier's Shield

  • Two slow horizontal swings, from the player's left to right, then right to left.
  • Heavy swing downwards.
  • Tower Knight Archstone: If the player is hiding behind a shield, he'll execute a short push-kick. Will break the guard of any shield with less than 55 Hit res.
  • Tower Knight Archstone: When wounded and not being attacked for a period of time, the soldier will eat a Crescent Moon Grass.

Halberd

  • Two horizontal swings
  • Slow overhead swing
  • Running attack swing from player's left to right

Strategies

  • Although these enemies aren't very powerful, they can cause significant damage to a new character, especially when attacking in pairs. Once you have a little experience, use them to practice your Parry and Riposte and backstab timing. Note that they also have a habit of throwing Fire Bombs and can heal themselves with Moon Grass. In Tower Knight Archstone, if you stay too close they will break your guard with a kick and then attempt to deal a heavy blow.
