We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I (do I)
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it (say it)
Inside, we both know what's been going on (going on)
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long

Just play as Temple Knight. It doesn't have points wasted in luck and since its only soul level 4 (5 behind barbarian) you can pump those 5 levels into Vitality and Str to make just a better Str build with heals.

You realise there is now barbarian armor in the remake that the class starts with now, right?

Really tough in the beginning, literally no armor if you kill Phalanx the merchant in Boletaria will move to 1-2 and you will be put off from buying the armor set he has. If you have a limited number of souls you can farm them at Boletaria a ton of times until you have enough for the armor set the dregling merchant sells. This is a good class because of the vitality stat, but you might be put off by the stupid equipment... When you find Bastard Sword and Steel Shield in Boletaria these will be the bread and butter for most of the game... Also you will find Mail Breaker here too this weapon will be used to kill the Stonefang Miners they are weak against pierce damage... The next time you will find armor will be from Patches in Shrine of Storms he sells leather armor... Also in Valley of Defilement priest robes as a treasure from a corpse this is for magic damage resistance... Tower of Latria wizard robes and silver coronet...but this siover coronet I will give to Sparkly the Crow to get a Colorless Demon Soul to give to Saint Urbain for the miracle spell Recovery
I think their magic and luck is high since its obvious they must have 'pagan' beliefs in their primitive civilization, compared to the (comparatively) educated faithful of god that are unlucky and dont know its the old one they worship.
... I wonder if the soul remains they have imply the barbarian start has spirit worship, or worship the old one for what it is? Might be why they still have easier access to miracles than wizards, because they are still willing to use the miracle side of magic without shame?
Truly a great roleplay opportunity right there, though the lacking optimization stings...
