Baby's Nail is a Dagger Weapon in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake. The dagger is a type of weapon which is small and fast straight sword type weapons with high attack speed and featuring a horizontal slash and pierce moveset.
A dagger treated with plague. The blade is curved like a talon. A dagger often used by women and children for assassination. Among the various unique weapons, this is one of the especially sinister.
Baby's Nail Location
- Found in: Prison of Hope, behind the ceremonial table in the room where you fight Fool's Idol. Be mindful that after the Fool Idol fight, approaching the altar from the front will result in the gargoyles taking you away, so you should approach from the right or left and hug the edges. The only reason Astraeas soul can be transformed into death cloud is because she went out of her way accepting all that disgust and corruption down there

the plague infusion would just be the consequence of it touching astrea's blood

Plague is what rot copied in elden ring, I mean elden ring just recycled all its assets from something but it's lack of originality stems aaaall the way back to OG souls.

It’s not satisfying to hold this hmm...I’m not sure what’ll i do with it.Poison though is quite satisfying,I am not sure about using an awful poison good weapon or this awful weapon good plague weapon.Death cloud requires so much preparation as well,
I need to think about this.
Do any of you know how this compares to the damage of Death Cloud?

While this weapon isn't really useful in pve, it can be extremely useful in pvp for pressuring opponents, especially on a build that also takes advantage of causing extra status effects like poison or bleed(or both). It also helps that a great majority of the time people aren't carrying the necessary item or spell needed to cure it.
